This module introduces the student to 6 patients that need a treatment to survive. The healthcare team can only give the treatment to one patient. Students are provided with basic information about each patient early in the scenario and additional information later. Module includes two database driven polls where students submit their vote for the patient they feel should receive the treatment.
This module presents students with 6 patients that need the same treatment in order to survive, however only one patient can receive it. The student is given basic information about each patient, then asked to "vote" for the patient that he or she feels should receive the treatment. After submitting, the student can see how others voted. Following this, the student is provided with additional information about each patient, then asked to vote again and compare his or her answers with those of others.
